Thai SMILE Evening 2026

On the evening of August 25, 2026, the “Thai SMILE Evening 2026” event was held at Thammasat University in Bangkok. The event brought together Thai teachers participating in the SMILE project to share updates on this year’s activities and to foster closer relationships.

The event began with a video message from Professor Spakorn of Thammasat University, followed by a presentation from Dr. Wakabayashi, Representative Director of WILL, regarding the status of SMILE project activities in Thai schools for the 2026 academic year. Next, Director Iio introduced the latest features of “Dialogbook version 3” and conducted a brief hands-on workshop.

Later that evening, the gathering moved to a nearby Thai restaurant for a banquet. We hope that the delicious Thai cuisine and beer helped to further strengthen the bonds among the participants.
